Nothing endures but change

– Heraclitus –

Sometimes you may wish you could stand still in a sea of change.

Thinking that some of the things that happened in your life seemed to be for no good reason.

If only that event had never happened.

If only you had never met that person.

If only you had never felt that feeling.

Then things would be different.

Better?

… Would they?

Not everything that happens in life may be equally enjoyable. But at the end of the day, aren’t those changes in our life the things that shape us?

Without certain place-certain time-certain person I probably would never have ended up on the path that led me to a wonderful person that took me to India… So, who knows where all these changes are going to take me from here.

Only change endures…

  1. Was this hand held? I think so.

What settings did you use, it’s beautiful.

    • Thanks Allan! 🙂 After a bit of post-processing, it has become one of my favs from the entire trip.

It was indeed hand held. I never pack my tripod, because it’s not fancyschmancy carbon-fiber lightweight, but some old metal one. The photo was shot with f/3.5, 1/8 s, ISO 100 and a bit of good luck 😉

  2. great photography!
