She’d kissed me, and it was good; honest and good. But I didn’t know if the truth in that kiss was the beginning for us or the end.

This is probably one of my favourite books.
And after two years of travelling around the world, staying with friends, I finally got her back.
Brand. Spanking. New. As her travels resulted in coffee stains, folded covers and pages falling out – very unbecoming for a lady.
It is a truly wonderful story. An autobiography like no other, which leaves you thinking that this guy’s life was just in-sane (sorry, no spoilers – just read it, if you haven’t done so already :))
This book has been the inspiration for the start of quite a few interesting talks. It got me to meet people I never expected I would. Made my own life take a few interesting turns as a result of it.
As I was flipping through her, one of the first pages I came to was this one, where the main character finally gets to kiss the woman he loves the most. It is a bit of a sad love-story, as there are so many in the world. And my heart saddened a little too…
But it did give me the inspiration for this week’s challenge! 😉
